After enjoying a career as chartered engineer and chartered IT professional I returned to music performance and composition in 2013, studying classical piano and attaining an ABRSM Diploma in piano performance tutored by Maria Garcia (Bath Spa University), subsequent studying orchestration at Morley College in London and receiving tutoring in composition with Lynne Plowman at RWCMD. I sing with the Bath Choral Society.

I am particularly drawn to the evocative in music and the use of improvisation as part of the composition process. My music is atmospheric and I often produce organic intimate pieces which are lyrical and expressive.

I write for orchestra, piano and for piano with other instruments. I am a member of the Committee of the London Composer’s Forum and have carried out a number of projects with the London Contemporary Chamber Orchestra (LCCO) including a film score and concert pieces. My music is published by Forton Music. I perform solo and with other musicians.
